Indoor Market at pepper place

Indoor Market at pepper place

The Pepper Place Market is one of Birmingham’s best Saturday traditions. The Winter Market season takes place every Saturday, January 18 through April 4 inside a space located between the Collective and Billy Reid, near OvenBird Restaurant at Pepper Place. This twelve-week market is open on Saturdays only from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., rain or shine, and there are many reasons you should spend your Saturday at Pepper Place.

The Indoor Winter Market features seasonal veggies grown in Alabama including cheeses, honey, eggs and meat. Some of the farmers located at the Winter Market will be BDA Farm, Ireland Farm, Owls Hollow Farm, Snow’s Bend Farm, Hamm Farms, Eastaboga Bee Company and so many more. One of the benefits of buying products directly from the farmers and makers is that you get to learn how it was grown or made. You also get the benefit of detailed information before you try something new. Every vendor is so knowledgeable and passionate, and they love describing the items at their tent.

Not only can you buy you locally fresh produce from the Market, but the Winter Market is also a good spot for breakfast or lunch. Vendors including Sunrise Baking Company, Seeds Coffee and Hinkel’s Bakery will be all be there Saturday mornings. The Indoor Winter Market is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends. The Market at Pepper Place is a tremendously fun family outing. It is stroller-friendly, dog-friendly and has so much to explore for all ages.
